Stephen Wilson Kinsey: Warehouseman
Today, Ancestry.ca announced that it has put online many thousands of pages of Canadian Directories (1819 to 1906.)
While there are many listings of Kinseys, one that caught my eye was the one for Stephen Wilson Kinsey in 1880.
This particular entry was from a 1880 Bruce County Directory. Previous references for Stephen have always been in the farming and grain areas of business.
This entry refers to Stephen W. Kinsey working as a "warehouseman" and living on Catherine Street in Walkerton, Ontario.
When Stephen died, a note on his will noted that he had very little to pass onto his children.
The numerous jobs that Stephen had would point to that the family lived a life of very meager means while in Walkerton.
