Three Families of Oro Township: the Cavanaghs
The Cavanaghs arrived in North America in about 1832 and soon settled in Oro Township thereafter. Patrick Cavanagh was about 3 when he arrived in Canada and he married Mary Kennedy.

Patrick lived until 1903 when he passed away at age 74. His wife Mary also made it to age 74 before she passed away in 1906. Both are buried in Bethesda Congregation Cemetery in Oro Township, Ontario.
